wip.v1 is a two-day flinta-only production lab hosted by trauma in collaboration with takt. across two full workshop days, you will learn the fundamentals of electronic music production using software such as logic and ableton, while also exploring field recordings, vocal tracking, and ways of developing your own sound.

alongside practical production sessions, the programme also includes industry inputs, including:

• hannah hicks from against all evil, who manages producers such as margo xs and luca eck, on how to get started professionally as a music producer
  
• karina hanschke, a&r at universal music publishing, with an introduction to how music publishing works
  

Our 20 participants will be split into small groups of 5-6 based on their genre preferences. in these groups, you'll have the chance to learn, experiment, and create together in a supportive setting, while also connecting with experienced producers and music industry professionals.

·the workshop will take place at a studio in berlin-mitte

·the application deadline is 28th june. we will let you know whether you have been selected for the course by 6th july

requirements

·open to beginners and early career producers with a strong interest in pursuing music more seriously / professionally

·full availability on both workshop dates from 10:00-18:00·availability on the evening of 26 august for a listening, community, and networking session

·your own laptop that can run ableton and/or logic

grammy-nominated producer known for her work on zara larsson's midnight sun and executive producing kim petras' detour. 1/2 of the duo debasement.

luca eck they/themgenre-defying producer connecting queer subcultures from across the globe. recent collaborations include six sex, miss bashful, felix jaehn, cannelle, rada and nusar3000.

cazey she/her
italian producer, sound designer and mixing engineer with a sharp ear for atmosphere and detail. cazey's recent credits include major german rap voices like omar101 and lucio101.

amber tambour she/her
producer and solo artist known for intimate soundscapes blending emotional club music with tweemo aesthetics. her sound oscillates between ethereal vocals and heavy drops.
